Whittet Higgins PN-13 Precision Retaining Nut - Standard Threads

The Whittet-Higgins PN precision locknut is the most precise basic inch-series locknut available, providing double the locking positions of a standard N/AN locknut for tighter, more accurate adjustment and setting of bearings and power transmission assemblies.

Used together with matched PW series lockwashers, it secures, locks, and retains bearings and shaft-mounted components on both soft and hardened shafts, preventing assembly loosening due to vibration, shock, and torque with no special tools required for installation.

Manufactured from carbon steel, this locknut meets and exceeds ANSI / ABMA 8.2-1999, carries a maximum operating temperature of 300 degrees F, and is made in the USA and RoHS compliant.
