I use the word ‘technically’ because both the old combo and the one we’re discussing here require your opponent to have a few pieces out in play for you to use them

Honest John, Not That Honest A nasty piece of work, if we’ve ever seen one With a reputation for shiftiness and mischief from his appearance in Pinocchio, Honest John brings those traits very smoothly into this Rise of the Floodborn ruby card

What Are Song Cards

This card could seriously speed up the usually quite slow item and ramp decks that we’ve been seeing from sapphire players in set two, to a scary degree

Thorough Investigation is neat because it provides both a fairly easy way to investigate on each of your turns and gives you dungeon venture triggers

This is unfortunately one of the rare decks that doesn’t come with a legendary creature, so there’s no potential for branching off into Commander

Not the most interesting card in the world, but one that will perform well enough

It's an awesome nod for longtime fans everywhere - even those who might not be hardcore series fans but those who only know VII
